Litt Fellowship

The firm of Litt, Estuar & Kitson is pleased to offer the Litt Fellowship Program in the field of civil rights litigation. Up to two law school graduates who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to working in the public interest shall receive a one-year fellowship with the firm. Litt Fellowship applications are accepted from any law students who will have taken the California Bar Exam by the Fall of their fellowship year.

Litt Fellows gain practical legal experience by working on public interest and civil rights cases, including a number of class actions. Applications for Fellowships are available in October, and must be received no later than February 1. After applications have been received, there will be an initial round of telephonic interviews of candidates chosen by the Fellowship committee. Not all applicants will be selected for the telephonic interviews. The Fellowship committee shall then select applicants for a second round of in-person interviews to be held at the firm’s office in Los Angeles. Fellows will be notified of the Fellowship committee’s decision by April 30.

Litt Fellows may not accept any other employment during the term of the Fellowship.

Individuals who wish to apply must submit a Fellowship Application  plus the following:

1. Official Law School Transcript
2. Two Letters of Recommendation from:
(a) One Law School Professor and/or;
(b) Former or Current Legal Employer(s)
